"Diamonds Aren't Forever" is a track from the album Suicide Season by Bring Me the Horizon. The name is a play on the James Bond novel and film, Diamonds Are Forever. The song was played live many times before the release of the album, and its opening chant intro was well-known by the band's fans shortly after the song's first appearance.
[edit] Music video
A music video, directed by Khaled Lowe, was made for this song as the third promotional music video for the album. It consists entirely of various clips of the band performing live during their US tour supporting the album in November 2008. As well as footage of the band live, it also has various clips of the band's activities offstage and on their tour bus. Due to the large amount of swearing in the song, the video had been censored dramatically, resulting in 9 separate occasions of language censoring. On April 21, 2009, an uncensored version was released by a fan on the website YouTube.
The video is also the last to feature the band's original rhythm guitarist Curtis Ward, who left the band in March 2009.
